Whitthorne House, circa 1848 with

thoughtful later additions

Set along Columbia’s storied West 7th corridor, Whitthorne House rests beneath mature trees and an open Tennessee sky. Double oak glass doors open to an eleven foot foyer and the first of several fireplaces. Natural light travels across heart of pine floors and tall pocket doors, softening the edges of rooms made for gathering. Cast iron fireplace covers were chosen with intention, including a cherub at the front entry that nods to warmth, protection, and home-centered joy. Outside, 3.55 acres roll from lawn to garden shed and barn. The setting feels private and rooted while minutes from the square.
